If you’re going for a custom-made Belgian style beer you’ll want to keep some of this dry yeast on hand. With a fruity driven strain that gives a high mouthfeel and body to the beer, Safale S-33 is ideal for Belgian Ales (Blond, Dubbel, Tripel, Quadrupel Styles) and strong English ales (ex. Imperial Stouts). It is also ideal for New England IPA’s. 

A general-purpose, widely used ale yeast with low sedimentation properties. This strain is extremely consistent, with excellent wort attenuation and a superb flavor profile.

  • Attenuation: 68–72%
  • Alcohol Tolerance: 9-11%
